Wine estate in Narbonne
AUDE – NARBONNE AREA
RARE IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE: 10 HA (25 A) OF FAMOUS ORGANIC VINEYARD, SHEEPFOLD, WINERY AND CELLAR
A great Terroir, a good reputation, a small vineyard and a lot of love…
That’s a simple way of presenting this wine estate!
Situated in the Minervois appellation, halfway between Narbonne and Carcassonne, this estate consists of some 10 hectares (25 acres) of organic vineyard certified by Ecocert.
In a charming little vignerons village, the buildings consist of a large wine-making and storage cellar of around 700 m², a sales cellar with an 140 m² office above it which used to be a flat. More living space could be added above the office. Stone sheepfold with a new roof, in the middle of the vineyards with a magnificent view of the Corbières, which could be converted into a home with a construction permit. A mansion next to the cellar to be renovated can also be integrated into the project, for example for a guest house at the vigneron’s.
The land is divided into 3 parts easy to farm, with a majority of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan Noirs, supplemented by a little Cinsault, Carignan Blanc and Grenache Gris. The locations are magical with a sheepfold on the hillside. The lively soils, the old and the young vines, and the quality of the new vine stocks are the perfect conditions for organic or Biodynamic techniques.
Very fine wines, tasty and deep, with character and personality, in all three colours. Great marketing techniques for more than 20 years in France and abroad, easily recognisable labels, a good reputation. Many private customers, wine merchants, restaurateurs and importers. Perfect for wine lovers who are more interested in making great wines than a large house, looking for a beautiful working tool with natural ecosystems.
