Chateau in Dole

Between Dole and Besançon, on the outskirts of a village, listed MH castle built in the 17th century, redesigned in the late 18th – early 19th centuries in a neo-classical style: large windows were opened to let in the light, two wings were added to the central building, the facade and interior decorations were transformed in a neo-classical Directoire style, and a romantic English-style park was created.
With approx. 420 m² (4,305 sq ft) of living space over 3 levels, it comprises some fifteen main rooms including eight bedrooms.
Several outbuildings: independent dwelling, former stables, garages, workshop, wood shed, etc.
English-style parklands of approx. 3.7 hectares (7.5 acres) partially enclosed by walls and crossed by a stream, rockery and fountain, pond. 2 gates.
