Built during the 13th century on the basis of a fortified castle and modified during the 15th and 16th C, this château has kept its authenticity. The story of the château is linked to the village in which it is situated. Louis XIII organized the Pece of Alès in the Château, Richelieu and also probably Napoleon stayed there. The listed entrance towers, relics of the battlements have been preserved.
